We had the downstairs en-suite double room. Unfortunately we were only passing through so in our one night didn’t get to use any of the facilities but the kitchen, common room and living room all looked nice. It had more of a B&B vibe to it than a hostel one. Rick recommended a pub for dinner which we really enjoyed. Nice little town!
Clean and tidy just what you want for getting your head down , we booked a full dorm it was 100% , and rick was pleasant and help full . Handy location to the beach and a car parks and not far from a bar and a wee shop to get a few things .
Stayed here a night after some scuba diving. Pretty basic as you would expect but clean and friendly staff. Free WiFi and good kitchen facilities. Close to the main shops and restaurants and plenty of parking nearby. Would recommend.
We stayed with a group of people for a sports tournament. The owner was very friendly and provided breakfast for us. Was quite clean and didn't mind us making much noise. Would have been better if the kitchen was open all night as some had left stuff there and also meant that we couldn't get water during the night. There is WiFi but only in the kitchen which is a nuisance. There was also a cat that lives there which some of us were allergic to. But overall was a nice welcoming place to stay
Definately stay here...its the perfect location, overlooking the sea, and in a quaint little village. Amazing walks, beaches and scenery. The best sunsets are here in Portstewart! Rick, the host, is very welcoming and friendly. Its very good value for money. I got a really great sleep here, in a nice bright clean room. Everything you need, hot showers, breakfast in the morning, wifi, tv, lots of books, and its right beside the sea! I will stay here again
